A question

I have heard on an episode of The Doctors that there's a new found treatment for Adenomyosis that doesn't require surgery or removing the uterus. Can someone tell me what's the name of this treatment?

Maybe try going to EPISODES, then go down to archives and look in there somewhere,

I can't tell you the name of the treatment, but I did find information at  http://women.webmd.com/adenomyosis-symptoms-causes-treatments. Also, my daughter, who is a student nurse was just talking to me about this ailment today. From everything we saw, it can be treated with birth control pills and antibiotics, but according to the literature, when the pills are stopped the symptoms return. I would suggest talking to a doctor or looking into what literature you can locate online or in health journals. Good luck.

What type of anitbiotics are those? I have tried birth control but that didn't work. My problem is that I live in a country where such treatments aren't available.

But thank you for the website, Larlie. it was very useful :)

I don't know what type of antibiotics--the article did not say. My daughter suggests you consult with your doctor about specific treatments or get a second opinion. There may be other health issues to be considered before treatment. Good luck.
