My name is Angie Carrier, I am a 28 year old wife and mother of 3. Unfortunately my children live with their father due to my becoming disabled after serious medical troubles in 2006. At the age of 24 I had my third child, which was followed by a diagnosis of postpartum cardiomyopathy 2 months later-in which I spent 3 days in a cardiac unit, only to have a massive stroke 2 days after being released. Here I am 4 years post-stroke, still disabled, and trying to spread awareness for heart disease and stroke.
