I have watched the doctors since there first episode. Can't say I have seen them all or watched it on a regular basis but I do find the television show a real asset to televsion. When the internet come about everybody was searching for results to there clamities. There have been a few episodes that really hit home with me after I watched them. I had what they believed to be a mini stroke at work. My stepfather had a stroke back a few years ago before he passed away this april. His stroke was brought on by poor health but most of all it was the redbull energy drinks he consumed everyday. He would consume way more then needed . He was drinking a 4-6 a day and it finally took a toll on his body and he suffered a stroke because he was consuming to much.
My daily dosage of redbull consisted of 2 20oz. cans a day. this went on for months and then my body began to feel the stress from all the chemical in redbull. I'm not saying there bad news but the amount you consume daily or weekly is important. I started getting serious chest pains, heart acceleration that wasn't normal and my head would spin, vision get blurred and I would feel pressure behind my eye socket as my face became lightly numb and warm.
I never really shared my consumption with the doctor. I waited a few days before seeing him and his first thought was a possible mini stroke. After watching my step father go through it I made the choice to quiet drinking them. I'm not sure about you but once you acquire a taste for something it has a addictive personality to it. I miss the flavor but I don't miss the health issues that it was brining on.
