I'm so proud of my husband. After having a heart attack Aug.2006 (open heart surgery) he started building a log cabin in 2007. Keeping on track with rehab advise. Keep moving. He is the most active person. He's been refurbishing antique tractors, building this cabin from logging the property, skinning the logs and laying them. He's on more medication than I can count. He has his signature on everything he does and still keeps going. (His signature is blood). He would come into the house and be cleaning his wounds at the kitchen sink. God Bless this man. Jim is out there helping people when needed and not asking for payment. He's in the process of building a Barn Cabin. Very cool, I might add. He would love for me to retire but in these times it's just impossible. He wants to travel but like everyone else we have to work. Jim even opened the cabin as a little shop for the local artists. His thought and theory is to make it profitable for all including us. I just love this man. Don't get me wrong he has his moments like most men do, but all and all he's king in my book.
I have to add, I believe his medication has effected his memory and my menopause has done the same. So between the both of us we are having some ups and downs. Age is a challenge and something we have to learn to live with. Whew it's truly more work than I'd like to admit. I appreciate The Doctors Show. Alot of good stuff to apply to our lives. Yes, we eat right like Blueberries helping our memory. Not sure if it really works but I'd be afraid not to eat them. I just have to giggle. ...
