As a Global Advocate for the United Nations Foundation’s Girl Up campaign, I’m excited to share a fun opportunity for you to learn about the issues that Girl Up focuses on and the programs they support in Africa. Earlier this week on The Doctors, I announced a special challenge: do you want to travel to Africa with me?
As you all know, giving women and girls the resources they need to be healthy and knowledgeable about their bodies is something I am very passionate about. I was inspired to create a contest to showcase the impact campaigns like Girl Up are making.
Now the details: if you share my passion and are ready for a once in a lifetime experience, all you have to do is upload a video telling us what you have done to improve the health of others or empower girls in your community. Click here for details.
The winner will have the opportunity to travel to Africa with me and give girls in developing countries a “High Five” face to face! I’m looking forward to hearing from you all as you participate in the challenge!

dr.lisa i really adore u a lot ....whe i look at u on the show i get more inspired u knw my dream was to be a doctor i was so brilliant student i regret for not being able to achieve my dream but my spirits r still high now i get the opportunity to study again i will surely achieve it anyways i js wan convey my greetings to u n hats off to ur work u r the best!!!!
This is really awesome a person who actually dedicate their time in helping others in need YOU ARE AWESOME.......My dream is to become a successful doctor in and to also help others in need....but the thing is what does it take for a person to be a good doctor?
