E-Matrix skin care

Hello Doc-watchers,

I was pretty impressed with the E-Matrix skin care system that our friend from San Diego, Tess Mauricio, demonstrated on our show. It is a way of treating dark spots on dark individuals by using new technology that is NOT A LASER. Don't get me wrong, lasers are great -- I use them every day. But treating darker skin has always been a problem for lasers because lasers like to hone in on color differences, like dark hair arising from light skin.

The E-Matrix system uses radio-frequency waves, which are kind of like micro-waves. With this system, skin can be ablated from the surface without the limitations of how those tissues react to light.

So now, with E-Matrix, people at the level of 4 or 5 on the 1-5 skin darkness scale can enjoy the benefits of non-invasive, non-surgical improvement their skin color, texture and consistency. Learn more about the E-Matrix skin care system.

Hey Doctor Ordon, I had laser resurfacing for my scars done in 07 at age 52. It gave me more scars and their much worse than before. I now have large rolling scars on my cheeks and dents all over. I found a wonderful doctor and he's trying all kinds of lasers to see what gives me the best results. I've had fraxel, pefecta, affirm and smooth beam treatments to help correct the damage but still have a long way to go. Does this laser get better results or about the same as the ones I've mentioned? And the cost? I appreciate anything you could tell me about it. Thank you

I think it's against the rules for any of the Doctors (Dr. Drew, Dr. Jim, Dr. Lisa or Dr. Travis) to "friend" anyone on the site. So cheer up, he isn't singling you out. He'd friend you if he could, I'm sure of it.

Hello Doc,

Where can I find the E-Matrix in my area. My skin has lost it's hydration I feel like I have the skin of an old man that has smoked throughout his life. Where can I find an E-Matrix in Canada, Toronto. My skin has gotten so bad I feel like travelling far and wide to treat my skin. When will they build an E-Matrix home version, if there was one I would buy one. My acne has stopped me from enjoying life.
