I don't know how many times I have talked to people who complain about bad doctors and I say why don't you get a new one? They give me a look like "really"?! Yes people you have the right to hire and fire. My Mom might have to do it if two of her doctors don't shape up. Do not stay with a bad doctor who will not listen to you. Fire that one and move on.

I did exactly that...fired a bad doctor...I just wrote an update, thanks for reminding me!
I would do that too and have done that; however in some people's cases their insurance might not cover them under certain DRs, and primary DRs are hard to find (at least here) these days. So as long as the DR takes the insurance (if you have any) you have, then it makes it all that easier to hire/fire.
