Well I went to the doctor today..  I got a shot in my shoulder (My first cortisone shot ever) and it really wasnt that bad.. It hasnt helped much yet though. I have Arthritis in my shoulder and neck. As a matter of fact this dr seems to be of the opinion I have arthritis everywhere.  And she also said there was nothing that could be done for the degenerative disk, all of it was something I would just have to tolerate (no choice there)... She had put me on some meds when I was there the last time but I couldnt tolerate any of them so she said my system was highly sensitive. I have tried practically every pain pill there is and cant tolerate them, muscle relaxers also.. The only muscle relaxer I can take without much problems is Soma but the clinic does not give anything addictive or anything narcotic in nature.  And the meds for sleep dont work too well either so she said to just sleep when I can, thats what Ive been doing.

Since I cant tolerate too many meds she told me to take 500 mg Naproxen twice a day and to take up to 4000 mgs of Tylenol a day.   We are working on one thing at a time... Next time I will probably get shots in both knees.
