About Me
My name is Jeff. I am a 36 yr old and have been married to my beautiful wife for over 14 years. We have a handsome 9 yr.old son named Andrew. My wife is a very talented artist and is the BEST cook I know. My son is in the 4th grade and is getting all A's....he's smart like his Mommy. He loves to play soccer and just finished his outdoor season and starts indoor soon. We love to go up to the mountains and snowboard and just to breath the fresh air. I like watching sports...I mean, I love watching sports, though my wife gets a little tired of it...sorry Snooks. I served in the United States Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton for 4 yrs. This is where I met my wife...that it self is a long story, so I won't bore you all. After the military, my wife and I moved to Pennsylvania where I worked as a Correctional Officer. We then moved to the State of California where the $$ was better and I also work as a Correctional Officer (San Quentin) Well, that's a little about me...I hope you all keep watching the Doctor's, my wife and I watch it every day...I think my wife particularly likes the show because of Dr. Travis...
Ok, ugh...now for my medical issues. I have had 2 surgeries on my right shoulder due to torn labrum tendon, rotator cuff tear and a fractured scapula. I have had 2 surgeries on my left elbow, which I am still battling issues with. These surgeries were for damage to the ulnar nerve and other things, I don't know the medical jargon. Ugh...and last (thank god) I have had asthma throughout my life...bringing a inhaler wherever I go is just a part of life...kinda nerdy...lol
Well thats my medical problems, I wish it was a shorter of a list. For those of you with medical problems, I hope you all are being taken care of and get better soon. This site is a great place for support and to get answers to questions you may have. Please feel free in contacting me if you want to chat or post a blog to all the Doctors fans...we are becoming our own "Little Community"

How are you and your wife doing after your bout with stomach flu? I'm glad you were over it by the time you went to the show. Was your son able to escape it? I hope so.
It's me again, TimeTraveler. I just wanted to say how exciting it must have been for you to be seated right in front of the Doctors. I would have probably fainted, but then I'd have been in a good spot. When will your show air? I'd LOVE to see you on the show. How did you acquire the VIP tickets? I'd love to go if I can find the money for the airfare and motel, et cetera. I'd probably go just for a couple of days. Even though I live in Phoenix, it's difficult for me to take the drive over there, and besides, I live in the jet age. Hope to hear from you.
I'm having some issues for which I'm afraid to go get an ultrasound of my belly. I have had a full hysterectomy, so that's not it. I'm just a little concerned it might be a bladder thing. It's the fear of the unknown that's making me worried. Oh, well.
Have a great day.
Hi, Jeff:
That's a good name. My Dad's name was Jeff, too, although it was a nickname.
I'm writing about your blog post about your friend who was diagnosed with possible ovarian cancer. My cousin had that. It is, as people have commented, a very horrible disease. I am blessed never to have had cancer. I just have other issues. I'm a survivor, I guess, because I've had many things happen to me that other people probably would have died from. There are too many to elaborate on. But, I just hope your friend gets better now that she's had whatever it was out. My friend had a malignant mixed Mulerian (sp) tumor. She was only the third person in Arizona to have it, it was that rare.
If possible, could I have your email because I'm going to get kicked off pretty soon. I'm too verbal. Thanks. I'd LOVE to talk more to you. My email is annes144@q.com.
Hi Jeff-
I am new to the website and just started watching the show. I'm sorry about your struggles, but it sounds like you have a wonderful and supportive wife. It really makes all the difference. About the only thing I can identify with is I have Asthma as well. You never know what each day will bring with Ashma. One comment I would make with your son. Humidity is your worst enemy with Asthma. The water molecules in the air cause the allergens to bind together, so you end up breathing more of them in. I know on real Humid days here in the midwest in the Summer and Winter will keep me inside the house most of the day (Suffering). Is your son on a maintainance drug? I know Flovent makes an inhaler for kids. Advair has the Corticosteroid and LABA in it and can provide a lot of relief. Singulair really changed the course of my asthma, but there are just some days when I have to take the Advair and Flovent and use my rescue inhailer. It can be a bit tricky trying to figure out what sets it off. All I know is that at his age, any type of viral infection can keep his asthma active for weeks. Maybe that is what is going on. I don't know. I would make some notes on paper for him as well as for you. Check air quality reports, check humidity, write down peak flows, that kind of thing. Keep moving, stay active, and don't give up no matter what. Sounds like you have a great attitude. Take care.
Long time no see.Hope Holidays went well. What happen to thoses Steelers.

Hey Jeff...it has been a while since we heard from you.
I have been busy for the past 2 months re modeling the bathroom and taking care of grandkids....I'm ready for a break.
I hope it stops raining here long enough for the ground to dry out some.
Talk later.
Linda
The problem you are having with your picture is due to the underscore _ at the end of the filename. The name must end in either a letter (a - z) or a number (0 - 9). Renaming the file before you upload it will correct the problem.
Welcome back! I can't find your post, but I will keep looking. I hope everything is well with you. We missed you at the virtual pool party at Pinkers' house, but we were thinking of all of you and we raised a glass in your name, Talk soon. Bobbie
