Maybe allergies?

Does he have allergies/asthma?  Might be worth having him tested if he hasn't been already?  Hope he's better soon!

I hope you can find out what it is. My brothers son has the samething for about that long to. The doctor told my brother that he had a bad cold which now turned into sinus problems You might want to check that on. But he is on an anitbitic also again. So we are just waiting for the next thing to break in. Good luck on finding anything out let us all know maybe it will give me ideas to tell my brother.

My guess is asthma or allergies. Any high pitched sounds heard from the chest? You don't need a stethescope. Just put your ear to the chest and listen, especailly when coughing. Get re checked by the Doctor, in any case.

MY KIDS HAVE COUGHS THAT REFUSE TO GO SINCE LAST NOVEMBER.I TRIED SO MANY COUGH SYRUPS AND REMEDIES BUT THE ONLY ONE THAT WORKED WAS PURE HONEY MIXED WITH CRUSHED GARLIC AND ALITTLE LEMON THEN THE COUGH REDUCED BUT NOT ALTOGETHER GONE.MAYBE,THE FANS I PUT IN MY KIDS HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE COUGH NOT GOING COMPLETELY.IN THE MEANTIME,TRY HONEY(THE REAL KIND NOT REFINED ONES).THE ONES SOLD IN FARMS OR ORGANIC ONES!GOODLUCK.

Thank you for all the comments...yes, my son does have asthma. He has in inhaler and also a nebulizer...his allergies are seansonable, so I am not too sure if they are maybe acting up. Anyways, I guess it'll have to be yet another trip to the Doctors office if it continues.
