I love Jilllian

I love Jillian being on the show.  She is a strong woman with strong opinions.  She does not back down or candy coat the issues she is passionate about.   I really don't see the negative people are talking about.  I think people that have commented negatively about Jillian might be intimidated or afraid that she will strick a nerve regarding their current eating habits and/or sedentary life style.  I never watched The Doctors prior to Jillian being on the show.  When I heard she was going to be a regular host I could not wait and started recording the show so I could watch it while I worked out in the early AM before work.  You go Jillian !

As you can see by reading the many, many comments on this site, you are definitely in the minority on this board, but to each their own!  I guess that the producers will have to decide if the handful of people who watch, are worth what they are losing in the "big picture"!

that's the problem - she is WAY too opinionated and overbearing and is NOT a doctor.  She's ruined the whole atmosphere of it being a medical information show, it's just another Dr. Phil intervention show with way too much shouting and arguing.  I HATE IT.

And, "oldtvwatcher", I wonder if that's where the problem starts: the connection between Dr. Phil, his family, and the new "co-hosts"?  As the old saying goes: "Politics makes for strange bedfellows", so perhaps television "politics" are at the root of this sudden, and VERY drastic change in format, and the addition of "co-hosts" who were definitely NOT needed?

Everyone is always trying to "new and improve" things; why can't they just leave things alone, especially when there was NOTHING wrong with the show as it had been prior to this season?  I think that perhaps the producers were thinking that it would be a ratings draw, but it appears to have backfired, and it's a viewer turn-off, both figuratively and literally!

Hate is a strong word, and I try not to use it but, in my opinion, your last sentence is probably a good summation for the way that many are feeling about this show right now, along with cheated and betrayed!  This is a very unfortunate, frustrating, and disappointing situation, indeed!

I once heard a psychologist state that when someone YELLS, it is usually a sign that they are feeling very out-of-control of, and/or insecure and unsure about, a situation.  To overcome those feelings of inadequacy, they think that the only way to gain the control that they want is by YELLING people into submission, which they then hope will allow them to manipulate others to do, or see, things their way.  However, YELLING is also a form of verbal abuse, and should NOT be tolerated by anyone for any reason!

YELLING is also a form of attention-seeking (picture in your mind a small child having a temper tantrum!) so, in my opinion, I think that all of this YELLING that is taking place only serves to show that perhaps the "co-host" has issues of her own for which SHE should be seeking professional help, rather than trying to dispense amatuer advice to others, especially when she does not have the professional medical or mental health credentials that would allow her to do so in the first place.  The only thing that she can do is give her opinions, but when there are already four professional, board certified medical doctors who are qualified to give their professional advice and instruction to people (and minus the YELLING while they are doing that!), then there is NO need to have additional people cluttering up the stage!

Producers: Please end the chaos and confusion!  Give JUST the "fab four", and their wonderful chemistry and format, back to the viewers, STAT!!!

So well said lucylamb57! I don't know why I even care about this. I don't watch anymore and nobody cares, but I hate to see a great project go down in flames. Actually, if this strategy succeeds, I will be even more discouraged. It will say some very sad things about the television audience.
