K- Thanks for the recommendation!  The only question that I have is: (since people live in different time zones all across the country), I wonder if Dr. Oz is on at the same time that The Doctors show is on in all areas?  Obviously, we can watch it anyway, even as just another option to The Doctors as you stated, but it would be more advantageous if it were on during the same time slot!  Changing the channel during the same time period would more drastically affect the ratings, so perhaps that would send a bigger, louder message to the producers?!

I live in Chicago, and The Doctors is shown here at 5:00 p.m., but I don't think that Dr. Oz is on at that same time (I'll have to check, though!  Since I have always watched The Doctors, I never had a reason to look up an alternative until this new season- and Jillian- started!).  So, I have just been watching one of our local news programs ever since I stopped watching The Doctors. But, if Dr. Oz is a good "Plan B", then I am willing to give that a try!

However, my first choice- if the producers of The Doctors would just get rid of Jillian- would be to return to being a loyal fan of The Doctors, and I would do that in a heart beat! 

PRODUCERS: ARE YOU LISTENING TO ALL OF US???  And, more importantly, DO YOU CARE that your viewers are unhappy, and are ceasing to watch the show??? 

L-- Here in the Grand Rapids, MI area, The Doctors come on at 3pm on channel 4 and channel 13 (both ABC).  Dr Oz comes on in the same time slot on channel 3 (CBS).  I would suggest you just try watching him.  If you don't like him, then you might need a new Plan B.  I, personally, like him.  He will invite other experts on the show, but he expects them to be intelligent and prove what they way with verifiable evidence.  Like I said, give him a try and judge for youself.

Amen!  I can't stand to watch is any longer since Jillian is the new star, obnoxious as she is.  Dr. Lisa has been pushed out by her and the former doctors are just props for Jillian!

i love Dr. oz show too and used to like the doctors too. that's why i don't watch the doctors on tv. i watch it online and skip the jullian part. dr. oz is more informative and so much fun then doctors.

I have been trying to contact the "Doctors" show to request the removal of Jillian.  She is not a doctor and she is not qualified to give medical advice.  I have always watched the show since I have two diabetic adult children and a brother with heart disease.  I don't have either and I'm not overweight and I do eat very healthy meals and not fast food.  Jillian is extremely annoying so I record the programs on a DVR and if the "Doctors" have something I'm interested in, then I watch it.

It's such a pleasure to fast forward through Jillian so I don't have to watch or listen to her.  It cuts the program to less than 30 minutes.

Thanks for the Dr. Oz information.  He is now on in the Atlanta area two times a day so I'll also be watching him.

i've never blogged...signed on to this blog just to be able to weigh in on jillian...i too used to watch the doctors every day as did my husband..we have changed the channel...like the rest of you..i sure hope the producers listen and get her off the show...why on earth did they think she had a daily place on the panel...what a total screw up...

I agree with you totally! I don't want to watch it anymore. I never did like it when the four doctors talked over one another, now there are six people involved and constantly interrupting one another. So sad to say goodbye.

I like Dr Oz too. Can't stand Jillian

I'm so glad you guys are enjoying Dr Oz.  He's great and he involves the audience so much.  He's a straight talker and leaves you wanting more info.  I love his attitude and non confrontational ways.
