About Me

My name is Lisa Marie.  I am a fun loving Southern California, USA, native. I am CRAZY creative, so you will see a large variety of things I like to do.  Everything I do is hand-made, home-made, and unique, one-of-a-kind creations.

I make jewelry, stained glass, custom decorative objects like bejeweled picture frames, votive holders, drinking glasses, just about any type of medium or object, I can design and customize.  People often give me a theme or just some ideas and I can work through concept drawings to design something special.

I have created centerpieces for weddings, parties and charity fundraisers.  I have designed entire room decorations from the walls and lighting down to the napkins and place settings.  It is the mood that is set by the room (location) that makes the event memorable.  Everything is off the hook creative and unique.  Examples:

  • James Bond Theme - centerpiece was a large martini glass (about 14 inches tall), each glass was hand painted with colorful designs, stems coiled with liquid light, glasses filled with water and glowing cubes, dry ice dropped in glass just before guests are let in, to create smoke.  Lights are low so that the glowing light from a "smoking" glass is all that is visable.  This was for a very large fundraiser.  Centerpieces were auctioned off at the end of the night and average $35 per piece (all went to the charity).
  • Night at the Show - this theme harkened back to times when women wore gowns and men wore top hats to attend theatre productions.  Centerpieces were an old fashion velvet hat with a "ticket" to a classic theatre production, i.e. The King and I, Oklahoma, Phatom of the Opera, Cabaret, Cats, and on and on.  Each table was different.  The hat was raised on a mirror, below the mirror were battery powered lights.  Everything on the tables from the napkin rings to the stemware charms were linked thematically to the production on the "theatre ticket."  The room was swagged with satiny curtins with strings of lights to give the feel of the old time theatres.  The tables looked amazing with lights glowing from under the top hats.  The best thing?  Each guest got to take home the stemware charm as a keepsake.  The clients were ecstatic.
  • "Finding Nemo©"- This was a fundraiser for a Boys & Girls Club.  Client puchased copyrighted Disney items, I created the rest of the themed room.  Balloons and twinkle lights hanging from ceiling to create an under water feeling (especially as they moved with the flow of the air conditioning),  fishnets intertwined with lights covered with glass on all of the tables.  Centerpieces were custom designed fishbowls with glowing fish floating inside.  Stemware charms were different types of sea life.

I advise my clients that the WOW factor creates larger donations (fundraisers), and lasting memories (weddings & parties).  I challenge people to contact me with ANY idea.  I've yet to be stumped.

I love to cook, in fact I pride myself as an amateur gourmet.  I have been told I am a "natural" cook.  I rarely use measuring cups or spoons.  I can eye just about anything.  I am not afraid to throw caution to the wind and add a secret spice of two to a sauce or a rub.  I have picked up many culinary tricks by watching others and FoodTV.  The results have always been spectacular.  My brother, Steve, likes to tease me often saying, "If Lisa made it, it must be 5 star Amazing! ... Although, there was 1 time in my memory, I think Lisa was in college, when Lisa tried a recipe that was so foreign to her upbringing that no matter what she did to it, we couldn't eat it."  Steve said,"OK, who's up for In-N-Out Burgers?"  He will never let me live it down.  He always says something just to embarass me, "there was that one time..."  I have thrown fundraising dinners where I was the cook for 50 people and provided a 4 course meal.  Each course had 3 to 8 food items to try out.  The goal was to raise money for charity, but also to tantilize people's taste buds with dramatic contrasts in taste, texture, temperature and more.  It was a resounding success.  Luckily my guests left room to enjoy their delicate dessert with after dinner drinks provided by the host of the home we had the dinner.  I didn't think they were expecting to try 8 different premium tequilas that night.  Again, our night was full of fun and all for charity.  Nothing delights me more than to see my guests enjoying themselves over a meal of excellently prepared food, especially if I've prepared it.

I create handmade confections, specialty truffles (including acoholic cordials), candies and the like. I create party favors and gift bags to match your party theme, or I can send everything in a bulk box and you display as you like.  I want you to be happy.   I create items from the best chocolates.  I have molded unique pieces and filled them with even more unique items.  Have you ever receive a ring in a fancy chocolate box with edible ribbons and all? Creativity limits are only set by yourselves.  I believe that all choices have unlimited possibilities.  And they can be delicious too.

My mission in life is to help you Dream, and I want you to Dream Big!

Live Happy and Live Long.

Live and Extraordinary Life!

Much Hapiness and Peace,

                                        Lisa Marie
