Oh man, I’m not so sure I want to see today’s segment on waiter's confessions. :) Chances are I'll be cooking today. Actually, I've never been a huge fan of the fast food places. Although bad things can happen at any restaurant. My mind is more at ease if I can watch the food being prepared. I also like deli's. One of my favorites Subway. Of course I have to trust the meats and condiment are handled appropriately. But you can visually tell if the veggies are fresh. Health & happiness.

Lynn, i have eaten in many places in my 49 years and I am here to talk about it. Unless they go into every place on Long Island and in New York City, i will not stop eating in restaurants. There is no way to be completely safe anywhere, not even at home, but I am much more relaxed about that than many people I know. I do have high standards, make no mistake, but I don't worry about things I can't control. There just isn't enough time. The Subways out here have fresh food, but every time I go near one, there is a smell, an odor, not an aroma, that smells like someone has been sick in there. I don't know where it comes from. My son likes it because he goes on scout trips and he has to bring his dinner quite often, so we stop and get a sandwich and chips and a soda. One stop shopping, cheap and made the way he likes. So, relax, enjoy the food and the company and don't think too much about anything else!
