Well. I'm here. I gave up on this over the summer. I lost 8 lbs and threw in the towel. I went to a BBQ and was so deprived from what I could not eat that I binged and never went back on the diet. I went back on WW 2 wks ago and freaking GAINED 2 lbs! I'm ticked. I know this works just don't know if I can stick with it. So here I am, day 1, making an attempt. I forget all the rules of what to eat and not eat. right now all I can remember is yogurt, SF stuff, (2) fruits before noon and meat & veggies. Am I missing anything? I'll search around again of course but I am a busy mom. :) So thx in advance if you point me in the right direction! ;)

I would suggest what I did. I was at 280 and not doing good so I finally took it apone myself to cut back. So I started eating less and eating fresh stuff that was good for my body and health. I started to take walks insted of driving. I am down to 215 and feeling great. The best way to lose wieght is by modivating yourself and having faith that you can do it.
I find that a protein shake with Metamucil (psyllium husk version) mixed in - I use a blender - goes a long way keeping me full and satisfied during the day. I use a protein powder mixed in soy milk plus the Metamucil. I am on a pretty tight diet - I have type 2 diabetes - but through exercise and proper nutrition, I am currently not on any meds for my previous cholesterol, blood pressure, or diabetes. Keep at it. One step back doesn't negate the two steps forward completely. I chose not to feel deprived. But on occasion, I'll plan something not in the script just to keep my interest in the other 6-10 days of far, far healthier stuff I feel I must eat, and of course, keep exercising.
