Today is the 25/05/2011 I went to see a private doctor today Though I'm a pensioner! The problem I have is not going away the swelling on my brain started again and I sill have to wait 20 days to go for a CT scan! And all they can say is keep yourself still I just hope that everything is going to come right! My granddad had the same thing and died later! But in my country they don't care about sick people anymore aspecialy if you are white!

Today was one of my really bad days! My wife and I went to the hospital this morning at 04h00 to get a good place! For my 6 month checkup and also get better treatment for the Stroke I had a week ago! The doctor asked for a CT Scan I took the requist in to X-Rays They told me I can have the scan on 05/06/2011 so I have to wait one month to get the scan! What scared me is my Grand dad and my Dad had a Stroke and two weeks later died of a major stroke! The Doctor at the X-Rays department said I must not worry because the treatment The doctor is giving me will help! But when I recieve my medecine There was no extra pills for any treatment of the stroke I had a really bad shock just thinking of it so now I have to make a new apointment with a privat doctor this week what have hapend to our country! 

Dear Doctors I just turned 61 yesterday but sufer from a mild stroke I had a week ago! Im so afraid to go and see the doctors tomorrow because of the treatment we get here in South Africa! Dont understand me wrong please let me explain first! Last year I picked up som lung in fection and was send for a cat scan but this did not happen all at once no I had to wait 6 weeks before I could have the scan! When I went in that day I was so weak they could not get a vain on me and I had to get the scan without any injection! At thatv time without any resalts the docter gave me Penasilin that help but what amase me the resalts only came through 6 months later at that time I was okay but not all that well! But had a new problem my neck was verry painful and my back who are already fused from 2/12 is giving me a up heel! Once again I got a apointment with a spesialist Who I only could see the next month! I sat and wait 3 hours to see him and he looked at my X-rays asked me how old I'm! I told him 60 he just looked up and said sorry sir there is nothing I can do for you! Now tomorrow I have to go for a a interviev again and What will the outcom be do I have to wait 6 weeks again for a cat scan and what my biggest problem is all my family who died of strokes had the miner stroke and a week later the fatal one so are I doomed to die! 

My Wife and I whatch your show every day we are bouth in very good condition helth wise. Firstly Im the cook in the hous for the last 34 years, and I must say that what we saw on your show go hand on hand with my tipe of cooking. Our weight is perfect as mutch as our energy because of the good way of our diet. If more poeple just want to stick to good eating plan and stop eating junk foods they will have a very healthey life.

Secondly I was to be dead many years ago but thru determination and believe im still alive today I had a sezure when I was 38 and through hard work and determination Im now 60 and hope to live many more years. Keep up with your good work we realy love you all! Phillip & Veronica
