Can we eat this recipe on Cycle 1?
3 cups quick cooking oats
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
p.s. I thought I would add that the last 5 months have proven to me that this needs to be a lifestyle change, not just a diet. When i have reached the weight I would like to be - I will continue to follow this nutrition plan because I will never go back to where I have come from.
I have been on the 17 day for about 1 and 1/2 years, so far I have lost 67 lbs - haven't been very good for about 5 months but I am back on the band wagon. All the recipes on this website will make it so much easier to lose my last 40 lbs. So many great ideas.. thanks all.
Has anyone had weight loss surgery and doing this diet? is there anything that I should do different need to loose a couple of the happy honeymoon pounds? Please let me know if you have heard of anything different someone should do if they have had weight loss surgery.
Couple questions: I'm on day 4 and have not drank green tea with every meal. Will that affect the weight loss? Also I bought no sugar regular yogurt that has 7 grams of sugar. Should I discontinue that and get greek yogurt?

I cannot find any sugar free yogurts.....and also, are we able to drink the bottled green tea? Or is the green tea after each mean only the tea bag kind? I just started today and it seems like I had more sugar than what is allowed.....:(
AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! I was always just using the few recipes listed in the back of the book and I got SO burnt out on soup and salads.... I haven't been able to make it through the first 17 days in OVER A YEAR!!! This list is so helpful! I am so hopeful that I can do it this time!
