I get monthly emails about the sex offenders list in CT. There is one 2 streets down from us. He moved in after we did. We drove by his house I saw him out one day and I had a stare down with him. Creep !! So We don't let Evan out of our site ! It sickens me that someone would do that to a child ! If someone dare come near my Evan  Well all you that  know me know what would happen to them !!

Kudos to all of you.  There is no way these men/people can be rehabilitated.  if every person who was molested as a child became a molester, well, sit down if you were not assaulted, touched innapropriately, etc. by a family member or stranger.  I see very few people sitting down.  The entire world is not molesting, so we need to stop the excuses.  They need to be lobotimized.  The mother also needs to be arrested if the man killed that child.  She may as well have put the child in the car and driven her into that lake herself.  She may have killed that beautiful girl herself, let's wait and see. She may not have literally done it, but well you all get the picture.  Our children and their mothers are not throw aways.  If you don't want to be married, get a divorce.  If you don't want your child, I know plenty of women who would give their right arm to have a beautiful , loving child.  Wake up America, before it is too late!!!!

I lived in the shadow of a mental hospital in Washington State.  A few of my friends did volunteer work on the sexual offenders ward.  They were part of a program to help these men learn how to interact with women.  The lesson we learned was, once an offender, always an offender.  They cannot be rehabilitated.  We were horrified when one patient escaped, armed himself with an axe, found the home of his volunteer, and in the presence of her children smashed into their living room and tried to kill her.  Her husband saved her life.

We have to be less empathetic with truely disturbed people.  Our women and children deserve better than that from our Government.

I agree that some should not be on the list in thoses situations with 17 or so age with 15 yr olds. But that is where the parents should watch for. It is the offenders who are not dateing they are just doing theses acts for sick perversions. That is why as parents and grand parents we should keep an eye on all children neighbors ,friends or even strangers childrens. I am just sick over this situation where this mother from Michigan would knownling have her 5yr old around a 35 yr old man who should have been in jail for 10yrs got out in 2.HMMMMM.

I voted to keep them in jail,but also be in the general population.Windancer had a point on the flip-side.It could be a relationship between a 17yr old boy and a 15yr old girl and he could be considered a sex offender.But for the down right sicko perverts,they make me sick and I can't say what I would like see happen to them on here.I would get deleted......Whenever I have my grandkids I watch them like a hawk.There is a sex offender on my next block over from me.

I never understood why or what goes through the mind of a sexual preditor to make them do these things.I have heard it can be because of something that has happen to them in their life.But still?????

Thanks for the post.  Unfortunately, the sex offender list can be difficult to keep up with.  They seem to be everywhere.  It's truely a sad day in America when that's one of the things we must do when we move to a new town;  Contact the Chamber of Commerce for school locations, shopping centers, apartments and such, but now we almost have to ask how to check out the local sex offender website.  Crazy hey?  

(On the flip side of the sex offenders list; some people are put on there for just forwarding a nude picture of their girlfriend.  So...it's not always for lack of a better phrase; black and white).
