I have the same thing, and it is form of sinusitis.  Not sure how to make it go away, still working on that.  Sudafed red behind the counter works for the pressure/pain.  You have to take it for week.  At least this works for me.  Good luck.  Also I back the netti pot as well, I cant use it because my ears are blocked.  But I hear they work great.

No, never tried it.  I've been using hot compresses and they've been doing ok.  I'll have to get a neti pot -- many people have recommended that at different times.  Would salt water help the nasal passages (inhaling the salt water in and letting it drain out) as well?

I don't know if this would work, but Travis swears by it.  Even though you can breathe just fine, if your sinuses hurt, have you tried the Netipot? (sp)  I want that for Christmas.
