I am really wondering if I should give up on fertility all together..... or just be more patient. I am a 30 yr old in my ideal weight (I am 5’4 and weigh 127 lbs). About a year ago I was diagnosed with PCOS, endometriosis, a uterine fibroid, and a uterine septum. Last April I had surgery to laser the endometriosis, remove the fibroid (which was 6 inches long and 2 inch in diameter), and to remove the septum. I haven’t been on BC for nearly 3 years now. All my life I have struggled with heavy and very abnormal periods. Until, I found Vitex, which I take with Flaxseed. I have been taking this for the past 6 - 7 months. It has made my periods very predictable and I only go for 4 – 5 days. YAY!! My concern here is that I am STILL not pregnant. I don’t want to seek fertility drugs or costly procedures if I don’t have too (I tried two cycles of Clomid and that was a nightmare – pre surgery). It’s all starting to become psychological and affecting my interactions with pregnant women or new mothers. What would you suggest? Recommend? Ideas?
*on a good note, my tubes are free and clear so I have that as a positive!

I had a laparoscopy last month on the 18th for endo as well! I refused the lupron, and anti depressant that my gyno wants me to take. She said it will help, but I don't see why having synthetic drugs in my body will help so I am taking a natural approach.
First thing is first..quit stressing. I highly recommend acunpuncture, massage, and of course a healthy diet. I am actually taking those steps as well because I've heard many good things from women who's tried it & that have gotten pregnant within months. I recently registered with www.endo-resolved.com & have found it a great source for endometriosis. They have a forum with everything listed from infertility to endo-diet. Please check it out!
