17 day diet

I started the 17 day diet today....and I'm confused on some things (that I may have missed in the book, but can't seem to find the answers)...is the Green Tea only the kind from the tea bags?  I guess I have to assume the bottled cold kind isn't allowed since it has sugars?? Also, I am struggling to find any sugar free yogurt.  Any I have found contains sugar.....any suggestions....same for the Kefir I found.....

I am happy for you that you are starting to lose the weight and that this program is working for you. i started this program a long time ago and i got depress fell of the wagon and i am going to start reading the book over again tonight. now i am curious about the body wraps you are talking about,what exactly do they do and where can i get them and how much they cost. as for me i need support and motivation. i have decided to let go of the meds for depression and anxiety and do this on my own and try to lose this weight i am 268lbs and struggling with this. i have diabetis 2 so the weight don't help me at all. i just want to pray and get support. well good luck with everything i am trying to request you as a friend but it seems like it's not going thru so can you request me if you don't mind.take care

Thanks soooo much for the encouraging words. :) 

I just weighed myself after day 3 and I am down 3.5 lbs.  I'm hoping that momentum keeps up.  I am looking to loose 45 lbs total to get back to my pre pregnancy weight.  I think that there are enough variations in the recipes I found on here to keep me going.  I hope so, anyways.....I quit smoking last January (been over a year) and that's basically how I'm looking at cutting out carbs and sugars and processed foods.  I just keep reminding myself how much healthier I felt after I quit smoking, and how much more healthy I will feel after I rid my body of the draining crap I put in it.  I have been searching for so long for something that gives a cleanse of toxins and that keeps it going and I think this is just what I was looking for!!!

We'll keep encouraging each other......:)

This diet is very effective. At first eating all the same lean proteins seems like a drag. I eat alternatives like beans and some tofu.I really enjoy my smoothies. I add greens to them for extra energy. I absolutely love my salads, too.

How much do you expect to lose on this diet?You will see results. Do not get discouraged when the pounds don't come off quickly when you step on the scale. My body seems to tone more and I have gained muscle and thus weigh more!!!

Everyone is different. Some friends on here have lost 10-20 pounds in 17 days!!! I recall  losing only 7lbs in 17 days! I think if you don't have a whole lot of weight to come off, you don't get such dramatic & radical weight loss, so don't compare yourself with others, we're all different and lose differently.
