I tivo the shows because of work, and I just watched the episode about single moms and teenage pregnancies.  As a once single mom, my daughter is now 21 and a pre-med student.  She has vowed to wait until she is married before having sex, but according to this author this is practically impossible as a single parent.  My daughter has not only sworn to abstinence and is an advocate for this at her University, but she is also studying medicine and wants to become a doctor and has wanted this since she was 4 years old.  Her biological father told her she couldn't be a doctor because she is a female.  It seems like this author and my ex would make a good couple!
