I just wanted to share about my 108 year old Grandma that just passed away. She only went to the hospital twice in her 108 years. One she broke her ankle and one for a really bad cold she couldnt shake ( both times she went she was in her 100s) ... She had 12 kids that she raised by herself since she was in her 50s ... she raised the kids, took care of the cows, the field, the firewood, and fed the kids. She smoked since she was in her 50s.. and when my family held dances she would be the last one on the dance floor. I remember her 100th birthday party she was the last one off the floor. Who can say that? If you could sing, play music and dance.. she would say "Thats a Vrai Fleury" ( thats a real Fleury) .. She only went into a home when she was 105 and thats only because she wasnt feeding herself anymore. Her mind was still in tact. Her hearing a bit gone.

The reason I put this on my blog, is this, Grandma didnt believe in pills, she believed in prayer. The power of prayer and healing is all in your mind. I believe in Modern Medicine but I know if you want to get better you need to pray and believe you will get better Live off the land she always had a garden. She was a firm believer in this .. she said her rosary 3 times a day and now joins all the angels in the sky. I will miss her greatly .. 12 kid..49 Grandchildren..99 Great Grandchildren..47 Great Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Great Grandchild... this is her Legacy ...
