for a more decadent "chocolate pudding" try using yogurt cream. OMG, it makes a much thicker almost mousse like treat and is super simple to do and very satisfying. Before bed line a colander with coffee filters or cheesecloth and put in a servings of your lowfat yogurt. Overnight the liquid will drain out leaving you a yummy thick yogurt (yogurt cream) that is perfect as a fruit dip or to use in the mock pudding recipes!

Thanks so much for the listing. It is helping. I just made the turkey salad (in refrig) for tonight. I have a recipe for french toast that I found on another website. It is really good. Slice an apple very thin and "saute" it in PAM and a little water if needed (I just put a lid on pan instead of adding water) until the apple is soft.
I beat two eggs, or egg whites, with vanilla Next time I am trying a maple flavoring or extract), cinnamon and Truvia (Stevia)
Then pour the egg over the apple and let set. You can scramble it (which I do in a hurry although it doesn't look as nice it taste the same) or let it set and flip it.
I think this will be our Sunday special breakfast.

p.s. Dr. Sears Kale Chips recipe has agave nectar - what cycle is that allowed in? My recipe for kale chips uses olive oil, apple cider vinegar and Bragg's Liquid aminos but no sweeteners...

I have only been on the diet for 1 week and have stuck completely to the day planner meals in the book. I'm really going to go through these recipes and try some. I take it that any of these recipes can be used while you are on cycle 1? I have to admit I was getting a bit bored doing the meats the same way.
Jane1569: When looking at the recipes, make sure you double-check the ingredients, as some who post recipes aren't all that careful about making sure their ingredients are allowed in the cycle they say they're for. MOST people are, but there are some that are not compliant -- just a word to the wise!

HMKSIS: On the nuts, Dr. Mike said in one of his videos or webcasts that we CAN substitute 1 Tbsp of nuts for one of our Friendly Fat servings -- every now and then, I do that with almonds.

Loved the different recipes for cycle 1. The recipes in the book were great but love the different ideas using the main ingredients. Just started cycle 2 today. Any idea when they might have these recipes for cycle 2? Managed to lose 6 lbs in two weeks so happy with that.
Beachplum: These recipes are NOT approved by Dr Mike -- there's some that aren't compliant, period; and some that aren't compliant for the cycles listed. Get to know your food lists for each cycle well! Altho....MOST recipes are compliant for the most part.

I cannot find any sugar free yogurts.....and also, are we able to drink the bottled green tea? Or is the green tea after each mean only the tea bag kind? I just started today and it seems like I had more sugar than what is allowed.....:(
Couple questions: I'm on day 4 and have not drank green tea with every meal. Will that affect the weight loss? Also I bought no sugar regular yogurt that has 7 grams of sugar. Should I discontinue that and get greek yogurt?

I have been on the 17 day for about 1 and 1/2 years, so far I have lost 67 lbs - haven't been very good for about 5 months but I am back on the band wagon. All the recipes on this website will make it so much easier to lose my last 40 lbs. So many great ideas.. thanks all.
p.s. I thought I would add that the last 5 months have proven to me that this needs to be a lifestyle change, not just a diet. When i have reached the weight I would like to be - I will continue to follow this nutrition plan because I will never go back to where I have come from.
