I love your show ..I am lucky enough to be home to see it now..I think the Doctors help so many with questions that they don't know who to ask..tyvm for that..I was wondering how do you check on a procedure you have done on your show to see if it is being done by a quailified doctor in my area..Again it is a great informative show.. thank you
Dr.Ordon, Hi there. I stumbled upon the show a few months ago and have been watching it ever since. I'm not wrinkling yet, but I am starting to grow a beard....talk about embarassing. Soon, I will be able to pass for Santa at the mall or can join a circus. I was really hoping you could help me...especially since I can't juggle... Any suggestion would be GREATLY appreciated----Rxqdforhealth (call me Sue).
I love your comment on finding the right doctor. Date your doctor that was good. I thought of something but that is a different story. I am happy that things went well with you as well with your tests. Nice tan that you get I wish I could get that dark.
My 13 year old daughter has ears that stick out and they make her embarrassed. She is a cheerleader and has to wear her hair up a lot and she get made fun of. A few weeks ago she asked me about ear pinning. I don't know a lot about this can you help me learn more about this. Would a doc do this on a 13 year old? what are the risk? what kind of doctors do these? Thanks for any info on the subject. Dawn Logsdon
Hi my name is Reyna am one of those girls that loves to look pretty but ever since I have my baby I can't go back to pretty or sexy, If you could be an Angel for me you can give me some free gluteus??? :) lol
I have had dark circles around my eyes since I was a little girl. In fact, I got the nickname Raccoon Face when I was little. I use makeup to try and cover them, but it doesn't help in all situations especially when swimming. I have to use two types to cover them and they still can be seen. Can you tell me what causes it and is there a way to minimize them or get rid of them? Are there any creams or procedures?
Boy Dr. Ordon I'm not sure I'm liking the new look. I am watching the show right now and the un-shaven face looks sort of messy. The scruffy face gives an air of miss trust, sorry to say. Maybe if it were shaped it might be better if you like that look. For me a clean shaven man is a sexy one.
Dr. Ordon, I usually like your input to the show and your showcasing of new therapies, but you disappointed me today with your description of rosacea and how to treat it. During these times, you only talked about technical cures when this poor woman would have benefited greatly (and more cheaply) with metrogel or metrocream treatment. It is not contaigeous, it can be genetic. It is thought that rosacea can be caused by the overgrowth of the skin's natural flora and fauna. Top dermatologists often supplement metrogel treatments with some other creams to speed healing or to treat stubborn spots. The saddest part is that most doctors, including dermatologists don't recognize it when the sunburned-appearing cheeks appear in their offices. I once had cheeks like this lady, and a face even worse than hers. Today it is clear, thanks to a top dermatologist and her relentless research on the topic. You might want to contact Lenore Kakita, MD, in Pasadena, CA to get some additional education on the subject. She is very active in her profession, often speaks at conferences, and is very vocal advocate for doctors and patients. You should have also told this woman to Google rosacea and visit the wealth of sites that offer education. You only gave that woman 1/3 of the information she was asking for.
Sorry if this is in the wrong place....still trying to figure out how this site works...
Hi Dr.
Ordon. Let me start by saying I love the show...I was interested in
having an eye lift and laser surgery done to my face, as I am 39 y/o
and I used to smoke in the past...I feel as though I really damaged my
skin from smoking and I have a good bit of wrinkles....mainly under my
eyes. I did write a letter to be on your show...hope you guys get
it...Anyway, I am kind of scared of the laser and was wondering if it
actually burns the skin off and will there be a lot of scabbing...Also,
I was wondering if it is possible for somebody to mess me up doing this
procedure.....I already have low self-esteem...don't need to make it
worse.....
