I am 42 yrs old, and have had extremely large breast most of my life (currently 48 F), and they are causing me a lot of problems with my back and shoulders. Some of it can be my weight issues, but ever since I was a teenager, I have always had the largest breast in the room! I have been thinking of getting them reduced to a more normal size of 38 D or C cup. But I am scared!
Dr. Ordon, how do you find out about breast reduction safety and where to get a good and honest doctor to do the surgery? I currently live in Orange, CA. I have insurance, but not sure if it covers breast reduction surgery. I want to greatly approve my health and weight issues, and self esteem. I think this might help. Can you let me know what to do!
I was watching your show this morning 1-23-09; comes on here 10:00 am weekdays Georgia. Anyways, I know it's hard to diagnoise a patient by e-mail it would be like me trying to cut & style your hair.My profession before becoming disabled-I was born with a Wilms tumor on the right side at birth and removed when I was 13 days old, benign which from what I have researched most of them are. also hernaited discs and a benign tumor in my right lung which was watched carefully and started to grow I had to undergo thorasic surgery to get the tumor out as you know they had to crack a few ribs to reach it and left with a 23 inch incision that goes from under the right breast to almost middle of my spine. Now I am left with nerves that really hurt just to the touch of the breast is this normal?
Hi Doc! I was watching The Drs one day and they had pictures of you when you were younger. Where you a model? Did you do movies? Where can I veiw those photos again?
Thanks again for answering my questions. I now see where I probably acquired the problem. Once you mentioned snorted drugs that gave me a clue, Even tho I have been clean for over 13 years I still have things coming back to bite me in the behind. I was once young and dumb; I am older and wiser now.
I can only imagine how it must be to work for Dr Ord. He seems like a great boss to work for as well as being down to earth and easy to get along with. I have applied for a makeover but was not chosen. I would love to have some or all procedures for looking youger so my looks will match the way I feel. My biggest issue is my complexion and my eyelids. NE ways thanks for anwering and hope to talk to you soon.

Wow, thanks for your comments. I think I may have a similar or same issue going on. When I wake up I have one or both sides of my nose plugged. Mostly depends on which side I have been sleeping on. I also snore. This is the reason I was asking. What can cause the deviation?
I can see you get emails all the time requesting your services for free. In the times we face with the economy, we (Americans) are facing even harder times. You are probably the most popular iof doctors on the show (mine anyway) because of the great work you do. You are not favorite because of that (tho it doesn't hurt) but because I love your personality not to mention great looks. When you took off your shirt to dance with Lisa Renna I almost fell off my chair, of course wishing it was me not her. I would love to learn to ball room dance but have not found a place to do so.

I heard you were also an ent? I have never heard about something called a cholosteatoma but i have had 33 of them in the last 3 yrs and was told I could keep getting them, and that they are life or death. I hate having to go through another one, to have my ears removed again and now dealing with severe chronic pain from a hole in my face and also severe inflamation. I take darvocet everyday, and would like to know if there is another way to remove these and why do they keep coming back? I have had problems all my life with my ears but never heard of these and now i get them at 54 yrs old?? maybe there can be a show on this as I reaaly want to know why they r life threatening?

Just a little bit about me I used to weigh 330 pounds YIKES right? I had GastricBypass in 1999. The why's I became so large started with family of origin stuff, Kind of trying to protect myself from the world. I am an incest survior. I want people to know that this is MAJOR SURG and it does and could have complications and even though my (Dr) Was/is wonderful I moved away from the EASTCOAST. Surg AT Cornell...Now he Practices at COLUMBIA PRES/NYC....The types of problems I had within the first year had to do with swallowing large amounts of food.
Secondly and the worst I have discovered was as a result of this surg, I became VITAMEN DEFICIENT. Which now has been taken care of.....
I liked really liked your Philsophy about trying to make people happy. You have such a kind heart. In 2002 I had a major tummy tuck, From hip to hip. People who usually have the Gastric Surg have alot of excess skin. Will you please speak on this subject on your show? If you were my fairy God Father I wish I could come to see you I would like to discuss from my heavy eyebrows, My bulbus nose (Eyes) remind me of my mother, (Nose) Father and my very large saggy boobs etc. Is that something I inheredited? Not saying I would ever be a 10 in my life but for once in my life and I will be 45 on JANUARY 16th I just want to feel like a beautiful, sexy woman...mind body and spirit. I secrectly wish you would grant me surg/because I havent won the mega millions...but if I did I would come to you.
