Hi Vickie04 Sorry to hear things did not work out today. However, we should not let a scale dictate our daily life. Let's look on the good side, it is just a number. Stop looking at the scale also. What about probably once a week or so. We must try to stay on program and everything will work out. In all of our lifes we have things that get the best of us so let's not add the scale ok LOL. Really cause I just went out and brought a new one here lately. LOL. I know I am being kinda silly I hope it made you smile. Have a blessed day tifa ♥¸ . ♥¸ .♥

Hi VIckie,  I have a Mac and for some reason have not been able to get msn to work on it.  But why don't you just email me at jlwerring@shaw.ca and I'll give you my number - we can be support buddies!

I'm on day 21 cycle 1,, I stayed on it only cause I felt that I made a few mistakes from the beginning and didn't reap the full benefits , I had the best intentions and thought I was doing it right only to discover some small key things. Thanks to this site it was discovered early enough.

Does anyone have any snacky ideas other than veggies and chicken ?????

Hey, don't worry about starting Cycle 2. After you've disciplined yourself with the 1st 17 days, you'll be able to ace the next 17. I'm right behind you, as soon as I do my "detention" days -- making up for the days I was gone!

vickieo4 Don't know what happened while i was writing this before.  if you are getting 2 from me sorry.  anyway i saw your posting to the stuart family.  I too loose very slowly.  Only 8 pounds down and am on day 27.  but I am happy.  anyway.  I had thought about only staying on cycle 1.  i called the 800 number and the diet has been created to trick your body/metabolism.  so you need to follow the diet as is.  1, 2, 3.  then if you are not at your desired weight, start again with cycle 1.  I hope this helps you and remember you are in the same boat as me (the slow boat to china) but together we will arrive!!!!

DON'T give up. Look at it this way: you're eating all the right things. That can't help but help. I'm with you on the weight-loss issue. My scale is new or I'd think it was broken, too. I'm at 6 lbs down still, but I keep focusing on seeing if I lose any more.

Be stubborn!

Hey, anybody else having trouble posting comments? "Add comments" doesn't work again, for the 3rd time.

writerchick you are so inspiring, I was looking at your pics wow oh wow  how much more do you have to lose ?

I love going to the gym however in our area for some reason it seems more like a fashion show. Wish we lived closer I'd go with ya. We spend almost every weekend at our trailer at Mnt.Vernon and started to do some hiking there. My husband and I have set goals that we want to accomplish every weekend and started our own biggest loser challenges, I'm hoping that will jump start my weight loss. We are coming to the end of  cycle 1 and I'm debating whether or not to stay on cycle 1 seeing how my weight loss hasn't been so good. My husband has lost 12 lbs but as of today I'm at 5.5 lbs. ( my goal was to hit 10 b4 my b-day and thats next week pressure is on ) Oh, before I forget I've been meaning to ask you or someone I'm not a yogourt fan so can you suggest one thats good and where do you buy it. We bought a whole bunch at Hagaans, Yoplait light fat free, they had black forest, strawberry shortcake, just amazing flavours only to discover it had 15g of sugar ( darn) they where YUMMY!!!!

Keep up the good work !!!!!

I hope that tomorrow will see better results.  Are your clothes getting roomier?  Maybe that is a better indicator now rather than the scale.

Hi Vickie, how's it going?  How did I lose the 25?  Well 20 of it went in cycle one, things did slow down in cycle two but I ramped up the exercise A LOT, I go to the gym 6 days a week, spend 45 min to an hour on the treadmill (just walking though at around 3.8  miles an hours on a variable incline, no higher than a 6 though) and then lots of crunches and some weights for my arms.  There is a great weight machine at my gym where you sit on a little chair, there is a padded bar at your chest and you curl forward towards your knees.  It really works and is not hard on the back.

Sure I've heard of Lloydminster!  I've been there several times.  Funny isn't it how many Albertans or ex-Albertans are on this!
