walking bacteria infection

I am 35 years old.  I am a mother of 3 children, and expecting my fourth child November 28th, 2012.  I have a serious concern for my health.  Since 1996, I have had I can't even count how many UTI's, bacterial infections, H pylori infection, gastrointestional infections, countless kidney stones.  I have been given cipro, clindamycin, macrobid, (ammoxicilin, ceftin, keflex, bactrum:  no longer can take allergic reaction.)  In the past few months I was even given a 7 day injection to get rid of 2 bacterias.  I thought finally my doctor who was in contact with infectious disease specialist for perinatal group to get rid of the bacterias once and for all.  Well, this past week I was hospitilized with severe back pain, blood in my urine (once again) turns out I now am battling with Group Strep B, Proteus Mirabilis, and E-Coli.  I feel like I am a walking bacteria infection.  My OB/GYN and her partner are shaking their heads can't for the life of them understand why I continuously keep getting infections after doing the 7, 10, 14 day antibiotics.  Its extremely stressful for me, my boyfriend, my children.  The last time I felt this ill was last October where I pretty much get border line septic with fevers, chills, vommitting weight loss.  The last series of antibiotics about a month a go I felt on top of the world for about 2 weeks.  I know its normal to be tired and weak while being pregnant.  When I feel great I feel great when I am constantly fighting infections I am unable to be a caretaker my immune system has been compromised for years.  Several years ago my x husband (not my childrens father) I was married to a man who was very abusive and admitted to me that he poisoned me with putting fecal matter in my water on a regular basis.  As a child, I was constantly put on penicilin for ear infections.  I am writing you because I'm not sure what to do.  I have been battling with depression, and anxiety about this even more so because of my unborn baby.  Taking all of these antibiotics will this harm my baby?  After I am done the antibiotics I am on now I will immediately start macrobid which makes me feel worse than my all day morning sickness.  I have no energy I eat healthy was diagnosed with gestational diabetes early on in my pregnancy.  I try to follow the 2000 calorie a day diet which I can't eat very much because Im never hungry.  I have lost about 16 lbs.  I am 185 lbs and my baby is measuring the correct weight.  I also take zofran and prilosec prenatal vitamins on a daily basis. With Im not sure if its the all day morning sickness or its the bacterias that are causing me to lose weight and not wanting to eat.  I'm just at the point where I don't know what to do.  Can these bacterias (I know about the Group Strep B) harm my unborn baby?  Is there something I shouldn't eat that is causing the bacterias to constantly return?  I'm so weary because of this.  Please help me so I can be a healthy Mommy to my 3 children and to my unborn baby.

I'd get a 2nd opinion with a DR at another hospital ... clearly they aren't able to completely treat the infections no matter what they try.  Sometimes other DRs might have other ideas as to how to get rid of things, kind of like starting on a clean slate.  By chance have any of your DRs sent your info/med records to the Mayo clinic?  A friend of mine has been sick for awhile and her DR has no idea what to do next, so he sent all her info to the Mayo clinic because they (Mayo) treat a lot of unusual cases.  Idk what the results of all that were, but I do know that DRs do refer people to the clinic when all else has failed.  Maybe you can google it or call them, or ask your DRs about it.

Overuse of antibiotics can make you very susceptible to other bacterial infections.  Please read my previous blog about how to strengthen your immune system: http://www.thedoctorstv.com/GreenFish/posts/14273-Antibiotic-causes-sudden-death-heart-attack

Also, I've taken cheapy probiotics over the years, but I swear by this new one I discovered, please research and consult w/ your Dr (buy it only from a vitamin store that keeps it refrigerated at all times...take the recommended 3 a day until you start to feel better, then take just one, like I do, to save on money!): http://www.gardenoflife.com/ProductsforLife/RAWDIGESTION/RAWProbioticsWomen/tabid/2015/Default.aspx

Also, research online "antimicrobial foods" or "antibacterial foods" and a lot of sites with lists of foods should pop up for you to discover.  For example, coconut oil, onions, lemons, etc...then eat only those foods and stay away from sugar, white flour, soda, trans-fats, saturated fats, excessive meat intake, fast food, junk food...you know, all that tasty stuff...they are inflammatory foods that attract viruses and bacteria!

BTW, I know all this NOW because I was getting sick all the time.  I wasn't being overprescribed antibiotics, but I was the one who was always with a cold, got a vicious case of the flu one year, stomach viruses all the time, etc!  I built up my ultra-weak/non-existent immune system, and so can you!  It's possible to get super immunity...the latest book I'm reading is Super Immunity by Dr. Joel Furhmann...I checked it out at the library, so see if your local library carries it.

Just one last thing!  Antibiotics can cause vitamin and mineral deficiencies.  Vitamin and mineral deficiencies can weaken your immunity.  Even though you are taking prenatal vitamins, the amount that you're taking may not be enough to replenish the amount you are losing, so you may have to take more of a certain vitamin or mineral (or eat foods high in them)...I wrote about this in What Your Doctor Won't Tell You http://www.thedoctorstv.com/GreenFish/posts/14355-What-Doctors-Won-t-Tell-You-Prescription-Drugs-Cause-Vitamin-and-Mineral-Deficiencies

Also, search the internet with "antibiotics nutrient deficiency" to read more about this in greater detail.

One LAST LAST thing!  Your doctor may be hurting you more than helping you...IMO, you have no immunity because all of the antibiotics you're taking are killing all your good bacteria...70-80% of immunity is in the gut.

It's me again, I just feel so much for you!  I'm sorry for bothering you with so many posts!!!!

For UTIs, instead of antibiotics, try eating 1-2 cups of blueberries a day (frozen is fine) in smoothies and topped on yogurt, and drink 100% cranberry juice (NOT Oceanspray, etc, as they are not 100%) from Trader Joes or other health food store...you know it's 100% by the ingredients label, and by the extreme tartness, I dilute it in water or coconut water!  Also, drink approx 8 cups of water a day.  Try that first, then if it doesn't work, get on antibiotics, but I personally stay away from antibiotics, period.
