About Me
I am a 28-year old school teacher from Alabama. I currently substitute teach in Fairborn, Ohio, near the Air Force Base. I met the love of my life online at http://www.eharmony.com. He is a Captain in the Air Force, stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
Aaron
and I have been married for two and a half years as of this writing.
Other than this, I have worked as an on-air personality
at various radio stations in Mobile, AL for ten years. I started in
radio when I was merely a child at 15 years of age as an intern, then
made it up the ranks to be on the air for four different stations,
including a Contemporary Christian station called WBHY, Power 88. That
was such a blessing, because it showed me God's love!
I have
one sister and one brother. They both still live in Mobile with my
family. My sister is a Junior at the local high school there and my
brother works at a local grocery company.
I am ecstatic about
sharing the rest of my life with a man who is as wonderful as Aaron.
It's also really nice because his family and mine like both of us and
we all get along so well. I am truly blessed and thank God each day for
my life, family and Aaron.
Aaron and my relationship is
interesting because we were making wedding plans before we were
"officially" engaged. But, Aaron made it official on April 17, 2006,
(Monday morning) before he left for Korea, presenting me (down on one
knee of course) with a carat diamond solitaire on a platinum band.
I
love Aaron with all my heart and we are so happy as husband and wife,
and will be forever, since we both looked so forward to marrying each
other. He is so giving, such a good listener and compassionate. Plus,
unlike most guys I know, he is not scared to share his feelings. It is
the most wonderful feeling in the world to be in love and to know
you've met your soul mate.
Aaron has also taken such good care
of me through my chronic Interstitial Cystitis. He has supported me and
loved me through it all. He is also very wonderful because he has had
to help with medication instillations that are less than pleasant and
he NEVER complains! He is my eternal optimist, along with God of,
course.
I am now being treated for IC by the best clinic ever! I was seen by Dr. Rackley at the Cleveland Clinic and have read Dr. Moldwin's book The Interstitial Cystitis Survival Guide. I
knew God sent us to Ohio for a reason. I see an IC specialist at the
clinic and am getting excellent results from the treatment regimen.
This should make it possible for Aaron and me to think about trying for
a baby sometime this year!
