Day 2....Should I have Lost?

On Day 2...

 

Wondering if someone can look at my menu as I am not sure if I should have seen a weight loss already:

 

Day 1:

Breakfast:   Chobani Non-fat Vanilla with 4 chopped med strawberries

Snack:    Pear

Lunch:    Spring Mix with Cherry Tomato, Cucumber and dressing of salt/pepper 1 tbs olive oil and squeeze of lemon with 1 filet of wild salmon grilled

Dinner:   Marinated Turkey Breast Slices (Marinated in Fat Free wishbone italian dressing) over spring mix with either 1 tbs of evoo and lemon

Snack:  Carrots, Celery, Cucmber, Cherry tomato with a few sprinkles of hidden ranch and non-fat plain yougurt (3 ounces)

9 glasses of water and 2 green teas

 

Day 2

Breakfast:   Dannon light/fit diabetic yogurt with 5 strawberries

Snack:  Pear

Lunch:  Piece of Chicken grilled with cajun spcies and small salad with 1 tbs oil and red wine vinager

Dinner:   Chicken, brocolli, peppers, tomato, carrots cooked in ff, light sodium chicken broth and few tablesppons of light soy sauce

 

Lots of water and 1 diet cook.

 

Should I be eating more?  Should I eat my 2nd yogurt early?  Should I be eating my chicken Plain?  There guidelines are very "loose"...

 

Please help!!!  What are you guys eating...are you eating and munching protein and veggies thorugh out the day?  When are you using ff cheese or adding some things like salsa in moderation???

Try adding more berries to your morning meal and snacks.  For breakfast i have egg white omlets with peppers, onions, a little rosemary and pepper.  I add a sliced orange or a small bowl of berries, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry with a couple tablespoons of yogurt.  I slice up strawberries and nibble on those in the am, eat either salads with chicken or tuna or salmon or lettuce wraps with the same, an apple, ( in WW apples are filling foods!) and the rest of my breakfast orange.  In the afternoon i eat lots of fresh veggies and sometimes another yogurt.  Dinner is protein, a veggie and 1/4 cup of cottage.  I quit with the diet coke as it bloated me up and started to make me crave sweets. Eat those veggies in the pm and you'll burn more calories.  Don't forget the green tea. I make stuffed peppers without the rice for me, and mix salsa in with the filler.  Use ground turkey too.  My husband sliced up a turkey tenderloin and grilled it with peppers, onions, tomatoes, and carrots that had all been marinated for 30 minutes in fat free italian dressing.  It was  wonderful!!!! Keep going! Oh and that 17 minutes of exercise is a must!!!!

Keep it up!  You're on the right track!

Your on the right track.  Try typing each daily meal plan in the book (with modifications) on a single page word document and printing it out and placing the hardcopy where you can look at them.  I even have sent a softcopy to my work email so I can refer to it when needed.  I refer to my word document all the time.  Don't forget the hot lemon water first thing in the morning.

I didn't loose until the 6th day and then I noticed 5 pounds gone!  Don't weigh but once a  week so you are not discourage.  I'm going on a month and I've lost 16 pounds, I was out of town for a week so I came home and went back on Cycle 1, first three days I already lost 2 pounds.  I think as soon as your body adjusts you'll see the difference!  Stick with it, it IS worth it and it WILL work assuming you are a normal healthy adult!  YES and don't forget to drink your green tea!  I'll be honest I don't do the lemon water instead I put it in my tea!  Good luck, you can and will do it!
