day 18

well this morning was my 17th weigh in - 13 pounds!!! it slowed down the last few days so i was excited about cycle 2 starting today. OATMEAL!!! i missed it soo much. i thought it would be difficult without milk but it was delicious. my memory is terrible so i will have to keep track whether it is a cycle 1 or 2 day:} hope all my friends are doing well.

What's that lump?

I have been looking for someone in the same position I am in but have not found them yet. I have a mass growing in the right side of my chest. I am only 24 years old and it has been there since high school. Doctors have seen it but never really found out what it was. if any one can help me figure it out it would be greatly appreciated

Great Show

I would just like to say that  the new format for 2012 is absolutely wonderful and enjoyable. So good to have the Drs. back, smiling and giving us good health reports. They look and feel so comfortable. Very good guest appearances. I just love this show.

Where is the professionalism?

I used to plan my day around watching the Doctors.  No more.  The yelling, constant talking over each other by Jillian and the psychologist have turned me off.  Get rid of them and return the show to the Doctors who have provided an excellent program in the past. Submitted  by an RN who used to enjoy the show

Finally!!!

Day 9

Day 9 - down 5 lbs. Feeling good. Eating healthy and sticking to the plan pretty much. Went out to eat a few times this week, but stuck to meals that I would have fixed at home:  grilled talapia over a tossed salad (without croutons or cheese) and oil (1 tsp) and vinegar (2 tsp) over all. NEW WARDROBE

I am down 12 lbs. and on day 18, first day of cycle 2. Feeling great!! I am wearing some of my smaller clothes that I have not been able to get into until now. Not buying any new clothes yet but I will be throwing out the LARGE clothes cause I am NOT going to fit into them anymore. I will then go shopping when my closet thins out. Morel Mushrooms for Cycle 1

For those of us that live in "Morel Mushroom Country" you can treat yourself on Cycle 1!  I just followed the Eggplant Parmesan recipe. Therefore I put the morels in egg whites and Parmesan cheese and fried them in a bit of olive oil, they were very tasty!!!  You could also bake them like the eggplant recipe in The 17 Day Diet book.

Day 12

This is beginning of day 12 for me. Did not weigh this morning, will weigh tomorrow. Hoping to be down at least 2-3 lbs. since weigh-in on Wednesday. I feel good this morning. Breakfast was scrambled egg whites with green peppers and non-fat cheddar chese, hot green tea, yogurt and frozen strawberries (heated in microwave).
