Hi Everyone! I want to get some information on gall bladders. I seem to be having some of the symptoms... my doctor told me if it feels worst to be sure to get in to him right away. I want to know if there are certain foods that I should avoid. Or if there's any other thing that anyone can tell me about my gallbladder issues. I would appreciate any type of help that you can send my way. Are there any books, websites, or other information that I can look up? Thank you for your help, sincerely, Donna

Fatty foods will make the pain worse. A low fat diet will keep pain better than a higher fat diet.
Melissa.
I had gallbladder removal surgery July 2009 because I had a gallstone that was 2cm long. I was in pain when the doctor found it and it was usually after eating fatty and greasy food. The worse culprit for me was pizza. It made me throw up right after I ate it. I would suggest getting it looked at before it gets too bad!! When the surgeon did get in there, it was engorged and stuck to my liver but i feel so much better since getting it removed. I didn't really read any books or look up anything on line but that is my personal experience with gallbladder problems! I am not a doctor or anything...just wanted to let you know that all of this is from personal experience. Wish you luck!! Sincerely, Carol
