I can't wait to step on the scale tomorrow morning! I made it through the baked salmon and it actually wasn't too bad, I made such a fuss having to eat it and after a few tastes I guess it was pretty good after all! I am still having a problem with being a bit hungry before bedtime, maybe a cup of tea before bed will satisfy my hunger. It can't hurt can it?

Salmon is so good! By the way, if you're still hungry, they say that drinking water will help and that the feeling of being hungry will dissipate. If you are drinking tea, though, be careful of consuming caffeine at that late hour. You may find yourself having trouble sleeping. Believe me, I know. If I have tea AFTER 6 p.m., I can't fall asleep easily.
Caffeine-free tea is also good but just dip the bag in a few times so it doesn't become too strong. I remedied my situation by drinking hot water, lemon and honey. It's mostly the HOT liquid I'm craving. Psychologically, I love the cozy feeling of a nice, warm cup of anything, and so, when I simply have to have that feeling, I drink that (honey, lemon, hot water) instead.
Hope this helps. ______________ PENNY
Have you ever had salmon patties with the chum salmon in a can? That is the only salmon I have had and I love it. I do have some salmon filets but a little leary on trying them. I have a little of the hunger before bed too. I try to space out my meals and snacks to try to combat that, but it's difficult. Let me know if the tea before bed helps, I might try that too.
I followed the recipe in the 17 Day Diet book for the prep of the salmon, I am kind of looking forward to it again now after eating it. I guess I am just an old Wisconsin Friday Nite Fish Fry kind of gal which I loved, loved, LOVED perch and blue gill for my selection of fish....oh and did I say to wash it down with an ice cold beer? LOL...that was the Wisconsin way of life, much has changed since living out here in Colorado :)
