Greetings from Vancouver British Columbia !

My name is Adela and I'm 53., originally from the Philippines. I am a happy, easy going, optimistic, compassionate, sensitive, very responsible individual . My friend's perception of me is that I have the ability to make people at ease. The reason I do well working at the non-profit org as a receptionist . In addition,I was raise and grew up in a loving-nurturing home. I have to thank my parent's for the person that I have become. Praise God !

I wanted to explore life and came to Canada 19 yrs ago. It is wonderful to be here . I am so ever grateful to all the people in helping me to achieve my dream; it's not easy but with my hard work and extra effort to fulfill my dreams ;it finally came true. I am a single mother of three adorable children and they are the spice of my life. " Thank you Jesus."

Life can be challenging sometimes but we need to do our best to stay healthy and happy.

I saw the post on my Not Sleeping Blog if your 12 year old is not sleeping properly it can cause the same symptoms as ADHD. A lot of children are being diagnosed with ADHD when they really have a sleep disorder. Since you stated that your child is not getting a proper night's sleep, it would be a very good idea to see if you can get a sleep study done. The child may have Sleep Apnea, or PLMD (Periodic Limb Movement Disorder) a rhythmic jerking of the toe, foot, legs, or even arms. Sleep disorders in children can cause hyperactivity, poor concentration, lower test scores, etc. Sleep Apnea can cause heart difficulties, high blood pressure, weight gain, sleep deprivation, hyperactivity, diabetes, insomnia, thyroid problems, concentration difficulties, etc. I hope you are able to find a solution for your children. :0) God Bless
