There was a lady that appeared on the show June 15th. You described me to a T… I am going to a thyroid dr because my tsh level is 0… I have all the same symptoms that lady on the show had..lebido,weight gain, but the ob dr. says my hormone levels are good and the thyroid dr says I have hyperthyroidism but I am not losing weight,,, I am gaining… and it is very hard to lose weight too… I have taken thyroid meds to “slow down” my thyroid but it isn’t working and they are talking about zapping my thyroid??? I am hesistant because they can’t answer why I am gaining and should be losing and why I am not jittery and all the other symptoms with a hyped up thyroid… please help me.. :) I saw that lady that was on your show and she had some “cream” she used to help solve the problem and I was on here trying to learn more since I only caught the tail end of the talking about it :( Thank you so much!!!

Don’t know if this could help, but your problem/symptoms sounds like my mother’s situation. Her thyroid doctor thought she should go for a second opinion. She ended up needing to go to a ‘top’ thyroid specialist. She was finally diagnosed with an underactive thyroid acting as an overactive. Maybe this is something you could ask about???
