my advice on this matter…. i waited 2 months to have sex again after my first baby. today i have a my two year old and a one year old. so just make sure your birth control method is in full effect and if you absolutely just have to do it. at least wear a condom. i’ve learned from my experience and now use the mierna as our birth control method and it works out great for everyone.

They say 6 weeks. I am at week 5 and have my check up with OB/GYN next Friday. I admit I feel much better than a couple weeks ago, but still nervous about it. I had a couple stitches, and they are healed now, but it just doesn’t seem to be “ready”. And forget about the desire…lack of sleep, stress etc can be a mood killer. But I am anxious to get back to “normal” life, including having a sex life! From what I remember, it was GOOD!

I have a friend that has a two year old and a one year old set of twins so it goes to show you breastfeeding is NOT a good form of birth control. With my first I waited a long time but this time its only four weeks but protection is your friend LOL! I had a first degree tear but it wasn’t so bad, AI think its good for your relationship to remain close especially after months of looking like a beached whale.
