well this is day 2 of cycle 1…..round 2……..159.6 on the scale today. My original goal was 155 by june 20 but i had to adjust it because it was not realistic. So I set it to just hit the 150’s and here i am.

so here I am on day 3 cycle 1 round 2 and I am down again this morning :) 158.4 gonna enjoy this befor i plautea lol

Today is Day 1, Cycle 1 for me. Did the diet once, a year or so ago. Like many diets, I didn’t last too long with that attempt. I don’t remember what happened that caused me to stop. I’m focusing on short-term goals; though I am fully aware of my long term goal. My first goal is pretty high, I would like to lose 10 pounds with Cycle 1. It might be on the high side, but I’m a full 10 pounds heavier than the last time I tried this (possibly more).
I love the boards – so I hope to post each day to keep myself more in touch with my goals.

day 6 of cycle 1, round 2…took a day off yesterday and had some sushi and 2 glasses of wine. Still ate pretty healthy though…anyways down to 157.6 today…that is my pre pregnancy weight. Very happy about that. Going to continue on though. Want to see the low 150’s

Today would be the start of day 10 and I am down 6.6 pounds after 9 full days. I don’t feel too bad about this at all as I had two days away from home eating in places that did not always work for me. I managed to eat correctly for half of each day.
I did my first 5K of the season on Sunday and finished within 3 minutes of my original goal. But before you get too excited over that – please realize my goal was 45 minutes, so I finished in 48:14. Given my size and lack of practice, I was quite pleased with this time.

Congratulations to you Lorrie84. I think you did a great job.Hang in there and keep doing those 5Ks.
My funny story: I remember the first time I did a walk/run 5K, my goal was simply not to come in last! Not only did I not come in last, I won a bronze medal in my age division—there were only about 7 of us entered in that age and 4 of us came together! Nevertheless, I’m proud of my medal and I’ve gone on to enter several other 5K marathons and now my goal is always to beat my last best time. I’ve been out of practice and so I’m no where near my best time. I’m starting over and I’m walking 6.5 miles three times a week. My goal is to walk 12 miles in under 2 hours.

Hi guys…I’m baack! Lost 30 lbs. back in 2011 on this wonderful plan. Made it thru to the end of Cycle 3 and then I thought I was smarter than Dr. Mike. I was perfectly happy and had a new way of controlled eating, but I didn’t stay on Cycle 3 and just continue on (still had 20 more lbs to loose) but rather went back to cycle 1. That was really hard, and I got sloppy. Thru a series of starts and cheats on Clycle 1, I maintained the initial weightloss, until now. After some serious vacation eating this month I have gained 10 lbs (hard to believe isn’t it?) so here I am again,needing to loose 30#, starting cycle 1 and looking for support. There use to be forums for different groups, can’t seem to find them now. Any ideas? Is this where we post just about anything pertaining to the diet?

Hi! I’m hoping to re-start this thread as I see there hasn’t been a post in nearly three months.
Started Cycle 1 yesterday and everything went well. I’m a little concerned I’m not getting enough calories for my activity level; according to my calorie tracker, my activity (9 holes of golf, walking with push cart) used up nearly everything I ate and, trust me, I ate everything allowed. And that was a light-exercise day for me. Also I was a little hungry when I went to bed at 11pm, we finished dinner at 7pm and I had nothing but water after that, as per instructions. BUT!! This morning I had lost FOUR POUNDS. Mostly water, I assume.
How do I get enough calories in to account for those I’m using up plus not be hungry before bed?

Thanks Jigzmom, great idea – congrats with the weight loss in 1 day, wow. I’m on C1 Day 4 and have lost 3.6lbs and feeling great. Exercise – I like doing Taebo and a variety of exercise daily (just to keep my body guessing)

Hey everyone! I’ve been loving this diet. It’s super easy which I couldn’t believe and I’ve been feeling better and better each and everyday. I will say I have cheated a few times… Being a college student sometimes things get a bit carried away. I haven’t been able to really exercise but I do when I can. I am happy to report these statistics though after the first 17 days. I started to go into the second cycle but fell off the wagon terribly, so I am starting back up at cycle 1 yet again. But anyways. After my first cycle these were the results…
Me: Female 5’9" Large boned
SW: 236
CW: 218
GW: 175
I lost 18 POUNDS in the first 17 days. I was absolutely shocked. So glad this is working!

Well here I go I started a few days ago and have been losing but have also cheated a little bit. It is sometimes hard when I am alway driving and have the craving for chips my worst. At work there is always food around and when things are slow I want to eat only because I am thinking about it. Challenges to work through! I am positive that it gets better and look forward to losing weight. Happy Life Changes Everyone!

Hey, I started out at 175 pounds, and I have lost 12 pounds bringing me to 163 pounds after only 7 days of the first cycle! I am young and short so it is important that I get my weight down, anyone else young and struggling with their weight ?

robynxo, I know you dont have to count calories on this diet but I would recommend counting how many you’ve eating the past few days, If you arent eating around 1200 then up your calories. That may help!

hey everyone,
So I was doing absolutly amazing for the longest time. I was eating well and hitting the gym hard for months. Really seeing results too. Got down into a size 28 jeans (Silver’s ladies!!!!) but then Jan hit and I had to travel for a couple weeks with work. Well between a few drinks and eating out every night it wasnt long that I was way off track. So then knowing that I had done so poorly I just binged for the last two months. I was down to 143 Yup!!!! Now today I got on the scale and Im at 156 again. Thats 13 lbs in like eight weeks. So I am hoping alot of this could be water but I doubt it. So I am hitting this hard again starting tomorrow. See you all in the Forum. Sure hope you all are inspired as I am to get this weight off again. 143 i will see you in a month!!!
