Day 10 – Down 7. It has been really hard but I am determined to stick to it.

Day 10 – feel fantastic! clothes are loose, i feel more alert, and have lost 10 pounds! don’t give up, Team Dr. Phil!!!! Mary H from Illinois. P.S. This is the longest I’ve ever gone without a diet cola and it really isn’t that bad!

missycal when we put on the weight it took a LOOOONG time so its ok we can do it all together!!!

Started the diet this morning with my husband I weigh 242.5 he weighs 290.5. we ate right did the 17 min exercise I thought I was gonna die or break something. I have been to the bathroom so much the toilet greets me and asks what!?? again!!! Is it normal to get a headache I checked my blood sugar it was good compared to before I can’t wait to hit my goal.. I set a first goal at 199 lbs then I will reach for the expected goals or Ideal weight One day at a time…

I had finally received the book and DVD and this morning I start day 3 and down 2 lbs- I am psyched) My schedule took me away all day and into the evening so I really missed all your progress- but seems the team this “old” team- is moving along nicely!!I did try the DVD yesterday and I can understand how some had some trouble- By the time I understood the routine- she was on to the next- It could frustrate me- but never the less- I just kept on moving and knew I had so my other DVDs to work from that this was not going to discourage me- I’ll just add it to my repetoire- I was never one to follow all those aerobic routines!! Give me the old fashion calisthetics!! I love the biggest loser DVDs I have and the trainer’s ( Bob and Jillians) more intense ones-and I know the results they gotten so that is an inspiration-
I am on to day 3 and will again be out most of the day- but a test of my will power- going to a funeral service and then to a luncheon- so must be sure to make sure my “emotions” aren’t eating!!

Good Morning, got hit by the flu bug so diet and exercice have been slightly disrupted. Back at it this morning. I have been drinking so much hot lemon water for the past two days in order to remain hydrated, it’s incredible! Hope you all have a great day… results same as on Wednesday 183.5 from 188.5, day 4 and 5 pounds down.

Day 12—6 lbs. My experience is that it does slow down a little but still averages to half a pound a day. Hey works for me. The initial weight that came off seemed like water weight but now feels more permanent.

I finally received my book and DVD! Can’t wait to read it & try the dvd!
BetteMc – Which exercise video is your favorite? I should try a few… Variety might help….I will check our local library! Funeral’s are tough. You have a good positive mind set regarding the luncheon! If you backslid a bit give your self slack because of the situation & start back on track!
Day 5 & only lost 3 1/2 lbs. I did loose 3 lbs after New Years by cutting back portion size and not having sweets. I wonder if that is affecting a quicker weight loss!

Wow I woke up this morning and weighed myself I went from 242.5 to 237.2 on my first day of the diet.!!! now i realize this isn’t going to be a reoccurring thing but wow!!! how is it possible Thats a whole sack of taters… probably because I peed every 10 mins…

I haven’t had to run to the bathroom like everyone else…. I am drinking the tea. Maybe I am not getting enough water though. I better start keeping track of the glasses I drink.

I think the girls with the “no pooping problem” is the fact that we are eating soooo much protein, which I know can be a little constipating. Think of it this way…you aren’t shoving all those greesey foods into our traps which you would think would make the poop move quicker.lol

Day five feeling great. just got done walking for 45 minutes out in the snowy cold weather feeling good.

abusymom- the DVDs that work best for me- are the following: The Biggest Loser workout- featuring Trainer Bob Harper and contestants from season 1&2- I use this the most- Karen Voight-30 minute body sculpting-get firm fast, Bob Harper-Inside out Method-to increase Metabolism for fast fat burning (I love this one too-good circuit training) Dancing with the Stars-Latino Cardio Dance, Biggest Loser-weight loss yoga, I still love my Jane Fonda (VHS) – used that to get back into shape after my last 2 kids and I always think that is my magic bullet -I do like the stretching I get from this that I don’t ever feel I get in the other DVDs, and the Windsor Pilates- a basic 3 DVD workout set. When the weather is less severe and I don’t have concerns about getting hit by fast drivers- I like to walk 5 miles a day- It gives me fresh air and exercise and I like that combination.
Well the memorial service was outstanding. – well over 800 people- such a wonderful support system she will have- I would say about half then went over my friends for a lunch and social- I behaved very well- had broccoli and turkey and got a few of my waters in- also a bunch of grapes- Was really proud of myself- Generally going to my girlfriends who always hosts these grand parties for Christmas and super bowl is generally events that are nothing short of an eating and drinking frenzy- those days are over for me!! I believe this is the first time I have actually stuck to a diet all the way- and not thinking a little cheating here or there will matter!! These cha groups are really a big part to that commitment- Thank you everyone!!

I use the biggest loser wii and it is pretty goood. This is really and oldie but I like the old richard simmons sweatin to the oldies. I also have a tredmill. So far I am just doing the 17 minutes a day, as I have been so out of shape.

I like all those dvd and i have the biggest loser , dancing with stars, and also richard simoms plus kettlenetics, I just got to use them.

WOOWOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Day 9 and down 9 lbs. I’m going to my son’s new house this weekend to help him paint and was so worried about what I’ll be eating there. I know they’ll probably end up ordering pizza for dinner tonight since it’s fast and easy,BUT after weighing in this morning and seeing this big loss I’ve decided to take all my foods with me. I’m also going to take my book with me and show my future daughter in law this and maybe she’ll get on board with it too. They have a wedding coming in the future and I know she would love to lose the weight. Wish me luck and maybe even my son will start eating the healthy way too!!!

Way to go karenwill50! Doing excersie and taking your food and book to keep you in check. Also getting your family to join is a great ideal. The more the marryier. That will give you extra support.
