I have always loved my desserts! But when I started the 17 day diet in November 2010, I realized early on that I was going to have to find some creative ways to deal with my dessert needs without cheating. That’s when I came up with this recipe that I now use every night as my dessert, and I LOVE IT!!!
So for all those dessert fans out there, I hope this helps you as much as it has helped me!
COFFEE ICEE RECIPE:
Make a strong cup of your favorite coffee (either regular or decaf – I’ve used both). Prepare your coffee however you like – I add Truvia or Splenda sweetner and a little bit of fat free milk. Place coffee in a tupperware container and put in freezer for about 3 to 4 hours. It will harden completely, so I usually put it in the microwave for about 30 to 40 seconds so that I can mush it with a fork to create an icee.
