2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cloves garlic, pressed or minced
salt and pepper
Combine butter, lemon juice, worchestershire sauce, soy sauce, oregano, garlic powder and garlic in a small bowl. Salt and pepper chicken. Place in shallow oven proof dish and pour butter mixture over. Marinate chicken for 30 minutes or more.
Bake at 375 for 15 minutes. Spoon sauce over chicken and bake 15 minutes more, or until chicken juices run clear. If desired, pour sauce into a small sauce pan and heat over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes, or until it reduces slightly. Spoon sauce over chicken to serve.
If you’re in a hurry, you don’t absolutely have to marinate the chicken. It will still be good.
