Decided I needed to have something like pasta to go with my totally delicious and legal homemade Marinara sauce. Whole foods or Sprouts has tofu shiatke noodles. 0 carbs 0 sugar 20 cal per serving. I know what you’re thinking.. TOFU?? I would be the first to say NO. Got a package soaked it and rinsed it for 5 minutes,parboiled it for 2 minutes then placed it on a paper towel to pat the water out. You can’t believe it. It’s good. I will keep doing this OVER and OVER. They have fettacinni and spagetti noodles. Have fun!

Tofu Shirataki noodles are great. Make sure that you rinse them well, dry them, heat in Microwave on HI x 1 min and redry them good with paper towel.

ive eaten these tons of times before. theyre awesome, if you can get past the smell.. but i dont think theyre cycle one compatible… i dont think you can eat tofu on cycle one, though i let someone borrow my book so i dont have it in front of me so im not positive

I have eaten these and they are OK but take some getting used to on the tummy. They are not made of tofu but of  Glucomannan which is a water-soluble dietary fiber made from the roots of the Asian Konjac plant. Glucomannan makes up the majority of substance in shirataki noodles. They taste better with a creamy sauce than with a red one.
