Money’s tight for me, but I’ve been able to do it. You can check in newspaper inserts (usually Tuesdays) to see what vegetables & fruits are on sale. Look around and find out where the lowest prices are for fresh foods. Farmer’s markets or stands are often cheaper than name grocery stores. Going to Farmer’s Markets toward closing time helps to get discounts. Buying in season helps. The more I’ve done these things the more I’ve learned to save money.
And I feel so much better since I’m eating fresh foods!
