Pilates was developed to help people with bad backs.
It strengthens your core muscles and flattens your stomach.
Don’t think of it as exercise per se. The routine I do is done lying on a mat.
I took the diabetes risk tape to my mother’s on the weekend, as she has started the, “you don’t need to lose any more weight hype”, According to that tape I was at the wrong end of the red. I am now at the wrong end of the orange and want to get to the green.
However Mum is a few kiolgrams less than me and she was in the red. She has stopped doing pilates, I have continued so my stomach is flatter than hers!!! I am a dress size lower than her and as I said I weigh more thanshe does and of course bieng mother and daughter we have the same body shape and bones.
