I HAVE A FRIEND WHO ALSO HAS TWO UTERUSES. SHE HAS TWO YOUNG-ADULT CHILDREN WHO WERE BORN A FEW YEARS APART. HOWEVER, THE FIRST ONE WAS 6 WEEKS PREMATURE, AND THE SECOND WAS ALMOST 4 MONTHS PREMATURE AND WEIGHED 1.8 LBS. (A MICRO PREEMIE.) FORTUNATELY, BOTH OF THEM HAD NO LASTING PROBLEMS.

I too only have one kidney and uterine dydelphus. I just had my first child in december and after watching this show I am a littla scared that my next pregnancy may result in twins too. Although a wonderful miracle, after just having my first child, one is more than enough to handle at a time.

I have a uterus didelphys. I am 24 weeks pregnant with my first baby. My baby boy is in my right uterus. I absolutely LOVE talking with people with the same condition as me. At 21 weeks, my cervix started to shorten, so I’ve been on progesterone to help slow that down. Hopefully I can keep him in for 12 more weeks!!!

I also have uterus didelphys with one kidney and scholiosis. Apparently these are all linked. I am actually trying to get pregnant and having a lot of trouble. Is there anyone on here tht would be willing to share what happened to them throughout getting pregnant and birth? I have so many questions and I am very nervous.

I have uterus didelphys, two cervix, one vagina, one kidney, LOTS of back problems that I wouldnt doubt is also scholiosis. I have had THREE HEALTHY BABIES (in the left uterus) and pregnant with my FOURTH in the right uterus! I am looking for people to talk to about this as there are not many around!!!!! My earliest born was at 37 weeks. My first pregnancy there were some complications, bleeding, shortened cervix. I was given the steriods as we were certain I would go into labour at any time, ended up carrying her to term with a 4 cm dialated cervix, she was breech but born two days early :) Veryyyy lucky, my second and third pregnancies were much better but also resulted in csections. So good to know I am not as alone as I thought!
