I looked up the SteriShoe device. It is a great idea but a little pricey… $129.00!! If you need to purchase second hand footware, chances are, you can’t afford this product :(

Wow, that shoe sanitizer seems like a no brainer. Never heard of it before but looking online there are quite a few pracices already carrying it in my area (NYC). I guess the device might have a good compliance rate from patients. I see a low compliance rate when I ask people to use sprays. Great from TheDoctors to digg up something really innovative!

Role changes has turned me from nurse to patient. I have decided it is harder to be the a patient then it ever was being a nurse for over 22 years. I regularly watch the Doctors every day but today it was the SteriShoe device that brought me to your website for further information. It was also what brought me sign up on your website, but I have to agree I was completely surprised with the cost of SteriShoe device. Prior, to this last year I would not have thought twice and bought this for my significant other. I now live on a strict budget and disabled. I even research to see if maybe you were giving away the product as a sweepstake, but did not see that option available. I even called his insurance compancy to see if may be a covered as medical equipment with a prescription and unfortunately that answer was no too. My boyfriend has dealt with strong foot odor all his life. We have tried prescriptions, odor eater, home remedies to no avail. He regularly washes them two to three times a day, changes shoes, wear white cotton socks and changes them several times with little to no help. I thought that this might be the new answer to help with continual battle over his foot odor. I think the value and usefulness of the product is great but the price unfortunately makes in unattainable for a large group of people. Too sad.
