I lost stomach in 2006 due to tumor attached to my upper stomach like Hans, it turned out to be Gastro Intestinal Stomal Tumor, which is a rare cancer. I wish they would of had this show after I had my stomach removed. I had to learn form trial and error. I did not have anyone in the medical community to help me. I am so thankful to the show for airing this and hope that they will show more ways of dealing with eating and nutriention for those who have no stomach or stomach problems. There is a who community of us at there and we need help.

sanbornt … maybe you can get his book or get it from the library to read more about it; there might be something of help to you in it.  Just a thought.

Melissaw72..I am going to try and get the book and have sent the link of Hans to others who have lost their stomach or part of it due to this cancer. I hope that those who just had their stomach removed will see it and not have to go through the challanges I had to indor for 3 years after having my stomach removed. Thanks for the reply….
