I had a cold for 2-3 weeks 2 months ago and I was blowing my nose constantly, I had itching and rednes to my right eye, then in my left eye. I got up one morning and noticed something floating in my left eye. Every time I move my eye the large floater appears, I have no flashes of light or anything, will this go away or not? My vision is excellent except for the floater. Do you think the floater is from blowing my nose?

IMO it is hard to tell.  I’d see an eye DR of some kind to get it checked.

i have floaters also, the one in my right eye is smaller than the one in the left, i was told about six years ago that there is nothing that can be done about it, is that true?
