This device looks interesting, but I have to wonder how accurate it will be.  Even the continuous glucose monitors that use needles have problems with accuracy so how would one know if the readings are accurate without actually doing a blood test.  Obviously it will reduce the amount of pricks but it won’t elminate them I am sure.  Also I am sure cost will be a huge issue so it probably won’t be accessible to most diabetics.  Thanks to the doctors for actually half explaining what the disease is and clarifying that there is more than one type of diabetes.  Too bad the rest of the media seems to think that diabetes is the individuals fault for “eating too much” and can be cured by eating healthy and exercising.
