Today was my first time to ever watch The Doctors. I had read what today’s topics were going to be so with excitement I recorded today’s show. What a disappointment :(
In all honesty, I thought I’d recorded an infomercial for either the book Better In 7, The Book Nook or Jay McGraw or all of the above. Needless to say, I’ll be deleting the timer for this show from my dvr.

They had a string of bad / so-so shows recently, but they’ve gotten better. Yesterday’s show (May 21) was great, they all shined in their particular expertise, gave great advice. Maybe give it another shot?

I understand how certain shows can seem like infomercials. It sounds like you were genuinely interested in Dr. Ordon’s book Better in 7 and what all it has to offer, though! Have you considered watching Dr. Phil’s show that airred today on the book? I’m not trying to stress on you even more infomercial on the topic, but instead of just gaining facts about the book, Dr. Phil’s show interviews guests who have used the guide and lets viewers in on their experience and success with the 7-day suggestions!
As for your comment on thinking you’d recorded an informercial, I can’t speak for Jay McGraw, but I believe that The Doctor’s TV stressed The Book Nook because it is the currently the only place that sells Dr. Ordon’s book at this present time. In either case, I hope you give The Doctor’s TV another chance in the future! Don’t let one episode determine your view of the whole show!

Agree. Also wanted to add that Dr Ordon has many fans, plus his own tv show (The Doctors) so why not showcase his book? I learned a couple interesting tips without having to buy the book, so I didn’t mind. But again, there have been better shows since.
