Day one recovering from Carpal Tunnel Surgery

Hello everyone My name is Kimberly and I am from a small town in Illionis and I just had Carpal Tunnnel  release Surgery yesterday. And I thought I would type a blog of my daily progress as I am healing up from the operation.

So far I am doing well my wrist is still in a lot of pain but that will heal in time. I am not allowed to lift anything heavier than a toothbrush. Which means I can lift my guineapigs their 2lbs and 3lbs not to happy about that but in time Ill be able to lift them. I am however feedling them I do slice up their fruits and veggies with my right hand and I just hold them in place with my left hand. since it is my left hand that was worked on I use my right hand most of the time anyway things are alot easier to do. Than when I had this done to my right hand in Oct.

I went today to the dr to get the surgical dressing removed and a banage put back on it I cant get my hand wet due to the stitches are still in. Their still a bit of swelling in my hand but in time it will go down I hope. I just got engaged so I would love to put my engagement ring back on.

I am still kinda tired though course being on pain meds don't help the tiredness any but if it keeps me from hurting I am all for it for a while. I have been doing light cooking we have been mainly eating frozen Pizza here lately. Hopefully tomarrow I will feel like cooking something. well I think realy thats all I have to report on Ill report again tomarrow.

 God Bless
